This page is dedicated to all those
who, like Socrates, feel that the unexamined life is not worth living, or
who believe, as Aristotle did, that man is a political animal. But perhaps
most of all, it is dedicated to those who, like Dan Quayle, are convinced
that a mind is a terrible thing to lose.
On this website you will find columns
that I have written for The Virginia Gazette in Williamsburg, Virginia, as
well as other essays, both published and unpublished, which deal with political,
social and literary issues. In the future, I intend to feature other writers
as well who deal with contemporary political issues, both local and national.
There is also a page of links to
organizations and people who may be of interest to those who read my columns.
Most of them relate to the topics in my columns and the research that has
gone into them.
Finally, feedback, both relative
to my columns and this site is important to me. So please feel free to write
away.
